A nice collaboration with the wonderfull Michael Ridge. We both know how to place a beak on a record, he used the skull of a bird, my bird was a stuffed one.
So it is effident we had to work on a bird-related release.
Anyway, here it is: it’s a transparant 7”, single-sided with a song Michael and I made. Over the grooves the birdfeed is placed, so you have to let the birds eat from the record and then you can play it. It’s winter, so the birds will appreciate this. And you will appreciate them, as they make room for your stylus to hit the grooves.
Released (edition of 9) on Quagga Curious Sounds.
Music, design and all the other things are done by Michael Ridge and me.
